Little Sprouts Preschool offers children a well-rounded program designed to meet their specific early childhood developmental needs.

Children are offered both structured activities and free-play, early literacy activities, gross-motor activities, music and movement, and fine motor practice. The program at Little Sprouts meets the social, physical, intellectual, cognitive, and emotional needs of preschool-aged children, encouraging them to “imagine, create and participate!”. Through play-based curriculum, the children will participate in art activities, stories, drama, and games, and will be encouraged to participate in special theme days each month.

Overseen by our qualified and caring staff, the children are surrounded by activities that encourage growth of knowledge and understanding of the world around them. The toys and equipment at Little Sprouts have been selected carefully to ensure that they meet the needs of the children, and are sturdy and safe.
Little Sprouts’ Program philosophy is based upon learning through play. Essential skills are learned and developmental needs met best through play, and at Little Sprouts Preschool, we encourage playing! Our program encourages parental involvement, offering volunteer opportunities in and outside of the classroom.

Founded in 2015, Little Sprouts Preschool has found a new permanent location in Airdrie, Alberta. We look forward to providing high-quality, play-based educational preschool to children aged 2 to 5. Please contact us today to arrange for a tour or for more information.

Our play-based philosophy has proven highly successful in assisting the children as they navigate their first years before Kindergarten! We have incorporated a basic introduction to French as part of our curriculum.
